An intriguing Colomial ,musket of the 18th century with a 49" half round /oct barrel and a Charlesville lock with a brass pan. The barrel is held into the stock with pins but the brass trigger guard is Brown Bess with the tail end missing. Wood is aged walnut, and the flint showers profuse sparks into the pan. The lock measuresd about 5 3/4" long. Stock is solid excpet from a slover missingbbefore tghe lock and along the stck tio edge where it meets the barrel.. Most likely saw much use during the Rev. WAr as the breech area has burn staing from firing many times.
