A Very Large And Ornate English Flintlock Blunderbuss Circa Early 1800's In Fine Untouched Condition. All original and complete. It has an iron barrel, lock and ramrod. The lock is marked with a "Crown/GR". The top of the large barrel has a fine gold wire look design throughout it. The lock and barrel both have a wonderful natural dark patina on them. The brass trigger guard and butt plate are fine and untouched. The wood stock is fine throughout with a checkered grip area. The large part of the rear stock has a carved gold inlayed floral design in it on the front side. The gun has a fine action and very good bore. The entire blunderbuss measures 44 inches in length. The barrel is 28 1/2 inches long and the large muzzle diameter is 1 7/8 inches. This Is A Fine Looking Early 1800's Large Flintlock Blunderbuss With A Wonderful Look To It That Would Be A Great Addition To Any Collection!
