Description: ABOUT 56" LONG OVERALL. UNMARKED EXCEPT FOR NUMBER "117" ON SEVERAL PARTS INCLUDING HAMMER & SCREWS ALONG WITH "CD" IN AN OVAL ON REAR BARREL BAND. IT APPEARS TO BE A CONVERSION FROM EARLY 1800s FLINTLOCK. 39 1/2" BARREL, RIFLED BORE, HAS LIGHT OXIDATION WITH VISIABLE RIFLING ALL THE WAY TO MUZZLE ABOUT .72 CALIBER. BARREL A SMOOTH GRAYISH BROWN PATINA WITH MINIMAL CAP SPLASH PEPPERING AROUND THE BOLSTER. BARREL BANDS, TRIGGERGUARD, BUTTPLATE MORE OF A MEDIUM BROWN PATINA. LOCK PLATE SHOWS NO MARKINGS WITH EVIDENCE OF ONCE BEING A FLINTER. FIGURAL WALNUT STOCK IN RATHER AMAZING CONDITION FOR IT'S AGE.
