JOSLYN'S PATENT/OCTOBER 8TH 1861/JUNE 24TH 1862/1816"" Bore is bright and shiny with light frosting visible in the grooves, rifling remains strong. Light traces of case hardening is still visible on the lock plate which is marked ""JOSLYN FIREARMS Co/ STONINGTON/CONN"". Serial numbers are matching, stock is very good with expected handling and usage wear visible, cartouche is present left side, Action holds at half and full cock.
