Description:
"NSN, made in 1863, .58 caliber, 37 3/8"" round barrel. Musket is in overall fair condition with the barrel and other metal parts showing a brown patina finish. Markings on the lock plate remain sharp. The shows expected handling wear including a crack the goes from the rear of the lock plate to the cartridge channel. Musket has been converted using the Miller Conversion. Roughly 2000-5000 of mostly Parker & Snow muskets were converted post-civil war.
