NSN .58 caliber 30 3/8"" cut down round barrel rifled musket by Providence Tool Co. circa 1864. Musket has been cut down to a two band rifle with front side added. Metal is a dark brown patina, wood shows some minor usage and handling wear. Action functions correctly. A unique shortened Civil War musket.
