Lock plate is marked with ""EAGLE-U.S./BRIDESBURG"", rear of the lock is dated 1862. Screw from hammer is missing, hammer does hold at half and full cock. Stock has expected nicks, dings and scratches noted. Bridesburg was the top manufacturer of muskets with the largest order and delivered during the Civil War.
