"U.S. Model 1819 Hall Breech loading rifle converted to percussion .52 caliber (AL9728)(DTX)
Description:
"NSN, made in 1831, .52 caliber, 32 5/8"" round rifled barrel. Barrel and Iron parts still retain 95% of arsenal brown finish. Breech looks to have a slight varnish with traces of case coloring, and is marked ""J.H. Hall/H.FERRY/US/1831"". Bore shows strong rifling, with light frosting noted. Stock is handsome with areas of raised grain noted. Rifle has been converted from flintlock to percussion. Action holds at half and full cock with a strong main spring noticeable. Hard to improve upon Hall rifle! (Dallas Location)
