Armi Sport Model 1862 Richmond Rifled Musket caliber .58, reproduction. New condition, unfired in original factory box.

Description:
Armi Sport Model 1862 Richmond Rifle Musket in NEW condition.  Still in original box as packaged by Armi Sport.  Never fired with factory new condition bore, walnut one peice stock and one peice forged barrel.  The fit and finish on this model Armi Sport reproduction rife is excellent, with crisp original style date and inspectors marks on lock and barrel.  Barrel is also stamped Armi Sport and serial number as shown on phoros.  As is correct for the Model 1862 Richmond Rifle, the buttplate and nose cap are made of brass.  The polish on the barrel looks very close to an original mint Springfield 1861 Rifle in my collection.  This is a great looking reproduction rifle that I have owned for over 12 years and never took it out of the factory wrapping.  It is my understanding that Armi Sport no longer makes this model and the last vendor price listing I could find for a new Model 1862 Richmond Musket was $1385.00
