12 bore 32" full octagon heavy four groove rifled twist barrel with patent breech. Bar-action engraved lock marked "D. LEONARD". Three position hammer. Checkered straight grip stock measuring 14" to a blued steel buttplate. Three leaf folding express sights. factory sling swivels. Weight: 9lbs 9oz. In superb original condition with the lock and breechblock retaining all of the casehardened finish. The barrel showing nearly all of the it's pattern and brown finish and pattern. Mint bore and beautiful figured walnut stock. Daniel Leonard was a maker of high quality percussion rifles in the mid 19th century located in Birmingham, England.
