The historic cavalry carbine is in good antique condition, displaying a rich, natural patina across its iron hardware, distinct frame markings, and a solid walnut stock with honest service wear. Notably missing the forearm wood as per its unique historical design, this Second Model features the early casting lever mechanism and a functioning breech-block action that locks up tightly.
