Engrave SALZBURG Austria Martini SCHUETZEN 8mm Precision Rifle Antique HUBL 19th Century Long Range Competition Rifle
Description: Engrave SALZBURG Austria Martini SCHUETZEN 8mm Precision Rifle Antique HUBL 19th Century Long Range Competition Rifle Here we present an antique Schuetzen Martini 8mm Target Rifle, made by J. Hubl circa the 1880s in Salzburg, Germany. This rifle features a beautifully engraved and distinctive butt stock that was designed for hooking under the arm for shooting offhand. The left side has a very generous cheek piece. These rifles were built with comfort and balance in mind. Both the grip and the fore grip are sharply carved, with the fore grip checkered. The trigger guard is large and is designed to be used as a pistol grip as well as to open the breech. This rifle features double set triggers that provide an extremely light and crisp break. The receiver is nicely engraved. The barrel is 31-1/4 inches long and octagonal with a rifled 8mm bore. The full length of the barrel is matte engraved to reduce glare. The sight bases are present and accept interchangeable inserts (not included). The barrel is marked “BOHLER-BLITZ STAHL” with an interesting little rune or symbol. The overall condition is very good. Gorgeous blued finish. The stock shows use and there is some slivering on either side of the barrel on the forearm. The bore is sharp and bright. The action remains strong and the double set triggers crisp and light. Own the original! This is a legitimate antique and not a reproduction. Barrel: 31-1/4 inches. Caliber: 8mm Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE. Delivered directly to your door by express mail! Guaranteed AUTHENTIC & Includes CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY. ancestryguns $1650 #190807 SOLD Antique: Yes |
