G. BEUTTENMULLER IN CHICAGO - ANTIQUE SCHUETZEN TARGET RIFLE
Description: Antique Schützen Target Rifle by G. Beuttenmuller – Chicago .425 Caliber | Original Condition
Offered is a rare antique Schützen target rifle by G. Beuttenmuller of Chicago, a respected maker whose rifles are seldom encountered today. This example remains in original condition, making it an especially appealing piece for the advanced Schützen or American target rifle collector.
The rifle is chambered in .425 caliber with a 1-in-29" twist, and features a full octagon 32" barrel with an excellent bore. It retains its original sights and original palm rest, preserving the correct period configuration. The lock and set trigger are fully functional, operating as intended.
Overall weight is approximately 12 lbs 3 oz, consistent with a dedicated Schützen target rifle.
