Talk about a Jerimah Johnson Plains rifle this historic Pittsburgh, Pa made rifle is about 50" long, with a heavy octgonal barrel of .970" wide, and a caliber of abut .30 caliber and a 34" octagonal long barrel with a fouled bore, don;t have a light that can get down there. Action is good with working set triggers , plain lockplate and clearly marked barrel address, and front and rear sights. Has brass furniture, and patch box. Last owner was shooting this fine rifle and has a newer nipple. Comes with an old hardwood ram-rod. A colorful plains rifle of ablut 1840 to 1850.When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith  before  shooting.
