Description:
Sharps New model 1863 percussion carbine. Marked Sharps Pat. Sept 12th 1848 on the left side of the receiver. Marked C Sharps Pat Oct. 5th 1852 and RS Lawrence Pat. April 12th 1859. Also faint New model on top of the barrel in front of the receiver. No visible cartouches on the 2 piece Walnut stock. Metal is Dark thinning to grey in places with light pitting.
