Note: These Belgian Tanners have been offered and sold as imports for the Confederacy. There is no connection with these guns and Confederate purchase or use. There was a Tanner who made some guns for possible purchase by the Confederacy. Tanner was in Bastrop, Texas. The Confederates refused the Tanners made in Texas due to shoddy workmanship.
