I'm selling my collection. Here is an Antique British Enfield Snider Model 1878 "Newton" Rare Forager Conversion 16 GA Shotgun. Antique no FFL required. It’s chambered for .16 Gauge . 30.1/2" barrel with an excellent shinny smooth bore full choke. Serial number: "7199". Military marked "1878", "Newton" crowned "N" all visible on pictures. Alike at the same Frontier Period 1881-84 the US Springfield 1873 Trapdoor were converted to Forager shotgun to hunt and to feed hungry troopers. What is not mentioned in the description can be seen on the pictures. I haven't shot this one. I described it to the best of my knowledge. Please don't ask for extra pictures and the old cartridges on the pictures are not for sale. Buyer is responsible for knowing all laws pertaining to this transaction. $625 + $85 insured shipping to your door, payable by cashier check, P.M.O or credit card with the usual charging fee.
