CUSTOM ENGRAVED SHARPS MODEL 1878 BORCHARDT RIFLE IN 50-90 SHARPS CALIBER
Description: 30 inch octagon barrel chambered in 50-90 Sharps 2-1/2 inch caliber with a very good shiny bore. Thinning barrel blue is a plum/brown color. Sights include a 2-Leaf rear and a newer Vernier folding tang sight. Custom engraved receiver as well as the bolt and lever retain most of their restored case colors. Refinished extra figure checkered walnut shows a couple of discreet splices and a repaired crack on the left side of the forearm and a few hairline age cracks. Hard rubber buttplate and sling eyes.
