Description:
Fraser rifles were originally made by Daniel M. Fraser of Edinburgh Scotland, in the 1880's. With fewer than 500 of these fine single shot rifles made you will seldom see them for sale, and even more seldomly will you see one newly manufactured here in the United States.
For your consideration today is a magnificent collaboration from some of the best gunsmiths in America. Starting with a precision machined Fraser rifle action, expertly crafted by machinist Steve Earle, this rifle was barreled and built out by Master Gunsmith Glenn Fewless, using his signature integral rib barrel. all of Mr. Fewless metal work was then sent to Master Engraver Robert Strosin for some very fine English scroll work and finally color case hardened by John Gillette. As a finish touch, this rifle was outfitted with a magnificent hand carved stock by Master Stockmaker Douglas Mann, finishing out the project into a truly striking piece of art.
