A fine example of one of the interesting secondary carbines of the Civil War period. Much better than average Joslyn carbine with near mirror bore, strong action and decent stock, with 2 sharp cartouches.. CONDITION: Fine. Retains much of the blued finish with some moderate thinning and fading. The barrel shows some light impact marks on the obverse near the breech. Lock with minute traces of case color with a mottled brownish patina. All markings remain clear crisp. Mechanically functional, near mirror bore is mostly bright with scattered light pitting and strong rifling. Stock crisp with sharp edges, some scattered bumps, dings and mars and some feathery grain to the wood. 2nd firearm ships FREE, with this one..... S/H $60...
