Model 1853 Sharps 40 cal Sporting Rifle

Description:
This rifle is in overall excellent condition. The bore is like new with no dark spots-it's completely bright and shinny-note picture.
Action is tight and does not seem to "leak" upon firing. The wood is very good with a few storage dings. The front sight is an original covered "pinhead" , barrel sight is a Lawrence, while the rear long range tang is graduated! The serial number is on many of the parts not just the barrel and tang.
