Springfield 45-70 Trapdoor model 1888 built in 1893 which was the last year of production. Overall VG antique condition. Excellent bore and tight action. This one is a good looking shooter. 
29 1/2" barrel  LOP 13 1/4"     Ladder rear site, cleaning rod & sling mounts  all as they should be. The asking price of this American Classic is about $800 LESS than a reproduction which as we all know will go down in value while this original will continue to go up. The sale inclues some brass. I also have dies, bullet mold and some cast bullets available at additional cost. Sale also includes replica walnut checkered pistol grip & hardware.
