Description:
This is an original 1885 high wall 40-65 target rifle. It has an Obermeyer 13.7 twist barrel. The barrel is made for long range target shooting.It shoots very accurate at all ranges.The trigger is a  double set wide adjustable factory.It has an MVA tang sight with a marked elevation knob on the top.The front sight has a spirt leval and replaceable aperatures.The barrel is 32" and 1/2 octagon.The wood is walnut and polished with oil finish.The stock has a pistol grip and a cheek piece.It has 12.5 LOP.The butt plate is rubber for reducing recoil.The Obermeyer barrel is made by Mr.Obermeyer who I believe is the best maker in the country. He has taught most of the other makers how to make barrels.I am 87 years old and now shoot 22LR only.I have shot all over the country.I have 12 National records on the wall here.
