Weighs 16 pounds. 54” o/a with 38” seven groove octagon barrel stamped on the underside at the breech “POSTLI” in small letters. Top of barrel unmarked. Original Springfield U.S. Model 1816 lock plate stamped “SPRING/FIELD/1830” and “EAGLE/U.S.”. All new fock parts except the plate. Deluxe grade walnut stock with pewter forend cap, blued steel trigger guard and set triggers and brass butt plate, side plate and star inlay on cheek rest. Brass wedge escutcheons. Hickory ramrod with brass caps. Little used and looks almost unfired with mint bore. Perfect working order. Very nice quality.
