The Sons of Liberty Gunworks M4 13.7"" barrel carbine is the accumulation of extensively tested and vetted components that all exceed military standards. Each component works together harmoniously to produce a reliable, accurate and highly durable fighting rifle for self defense. The NOX muzzle device is designed to reduce concussion and flash signature while working against muzzle rise. The barrel uses a 4150 steel barrel that's evenly coated with chrome lining CrMov. The barrel has added testing with high pressure testing and magnetic particle inspection fulfilling the highest QC standards in the industry. the handguard is the solid Wedge Lock design to keep repeatability and accuracy with constant removal and addition of accessories light lights and lasers. The upper receiver uses the radian raptor charging handle for an intuitive non-slip grip and positive reach. The bolt carrier group is M16 cut. The trigger is a polished single stage mil-spec trigger to ensure even the hardest primers can be fired so that the rifle can function with a wider variety of ammo. The lower receiver has a forged enlarged magwell to assist in faster reloads. The recoil impulse is vastly improved by implementing the proven Vltor A5 receiver extension and buffer system that dampens the recoil but improves reliability by reducing unnecessary bolt bounce cutting down on lag time to cycle the gun. The carbine features several QD locations on the stock, QD endplate and handguard for a variety of sling mounting locations. finally the rifle is outfitted with B5 systems stock and pistol grip for the modern rifle shooting stance and grip.
