Auto Ordnance Thompson 1927 A1, .45 Caliber Semi-Automatic Rifle with Stick and Drum Magazines
Description: Auto-Ordnance Thompson 1927A-1 (Model of 1927 A1) Deluxe carbine chambered in .45 ACP, with 16.5-inch barrel and pinned compensator, extending the barrel length to about 19 inches. The blued frame and barrel are solid steel construction. The stock, rear pistol grip, forward pistol grip, and extra interchangeable horizontal grip are walnut. Twelve pounds of steel, wood and bad attitude. Overall length is 40½ inches. The gun has a fixed blade front sight and adjustable rear sight. Accessories include one horizontal walnut hand grip (interchangeble with forward pistol grip), one 20-round stick magazine, one 50-round drum magazine, the original Owner’s Manual, and your choice of the original violin case or a hard-plastic case labeled "Thompson Chicago Typewriter". There no other accessories. NOTE: The violin case is 42x16 inches. The hard-plastic case is 53x15 inches. The total shipping weight of either package is about 28 pounds. Either package will increase the shipping size and, of course, the shipping cost. Declining a case will reduce shipping costs. If you are interested in this gun, we can discuss that. The overall condition of this rifle is 100 percent. Though it has had a few rounds fired through it (less than twenty) the gun is essentially new-in-the-box. The metal and wood are like new, as are the magazines, the violin case, the hard-plastic case, and the Owner’s Manual. The photos are high resolution, so zoom to see details. Contact me for additional photos of any area you would like to see or see better. The buyer pays $75 USPS Priority Mail and $38.05 insurance (actual price per USPS ) The fastest way to get this gun is to pay with a USPS (U.S. Postal Service) money order, as they are like cash, and I don’t have to wait for them to clear. However, I will accept a personal check, other type checks, or other type money orders, but I will hold the gun until it clears my bank; that includes bank checks and cashier’s checks. Check or money orders must be made out to Jerry Pownall or Barboursville Arms. SOLD |
