Serial No. 21427, circa 1869-1873, .46RF dual ignition system, 30"" round barrel. Barrel is a light grey patina with oxidation noted around the muzzle. Barrel is marked with ""No.49"" forward of the rear sight. Receiver is a light grey patina with traces of original case coloring visible leftside and in protected areas. Serial Numbers match in receiver and barrel. Left side of receiver is marked ""BROWN MFG Co. NEWBURRYPORT. MASS/BALLARD'S PATENT/NOV 5,1861. Stock is in very good plus condition with minor nicks, dings and scratches visible,a small crack is noted right side on the forearm. Bore is bright with some oxidation visible at the breech. Cartridge slide ejector functions correctly.
