TRULY SPECTACULAR AND NOW LONG OUT OF PRODUCTION, FULL FANCY CUSTOM BALLARD RIFLE CO., CODY, WYOMING No. 7 LONG RANGE MODEL IN .45-90 CALIBER. This is an absolutely gorgeous rifle that features "knock-out" fancy English Walnut stock and forend, checkered pistol grip with schnable, butt stock with case hardened checkered steel butt plate, checkered forend with ebony schnable forend tip, AA finish on the wood, double set triggers, case hardened loop lever, octagon receiver ring, polished and fireblued screws, polished 32" heavy half-octagon polished barrel with no rear sight dovetail, globe with spirit level front sight, Montana Vintage Arms Mid-Range Soule tang sight and fitted with an MVA 6X 28" scope with fine cross hair reticle (with steel screw-in lens caps) in fully adjustable for windage and elevation Silhouette Mounts. Weighs just over 11 lbs without scope and approx. 12 1/4 lbs with scope. All in about new condition inside and out! I was the original dealer for these Ballards until they went out of business in the early 2000s. This would have to be one of the most beautiful examples I've seen. By the serial number 10XX I believe this one was one of the last made around 2004. Superb quality never to be seen again. $5950 (about the same price this would have sold for nearly 20 years ago!).
