Very Rare Tanner target rifle in 7.5x55 Swiss. This rifle is designed for 300 meter CISM competion as well as long range target shooting from 300-1000 yards. 26" blued bull barrel with Tanner proof marks. Bore and throat are in mint new condition. Two lug bolt with Sako style extractor, two stage adjustable match trigger. Trigger is adjustable from 800 grams to 2200 grams. The trigger breaks like a glass rod!!! Very high quality 10 shot steel detachable magazine that shows no use. Receiver has an integral dovetail slot that the rear sight attaches to and is market Tanner Switzerland. Offset Tanner front and rear target sights. Full length hand stop rail with detents and a hand stop retention plate/stop. The walnut target stock is in excellent condition with only a few minor bruises from handling over the years. Stippled pistol grip. Adjustable cheek piece and adjusable butt plate assembly. There has been a 5/8" spacer added to increase the length of pull, however the original portion of the stock has not been changed or cut. The spacer can be removed is you so desire. Length of pull is 13.5". Given the condition and lack of usage signs, I surmise that this rifle had the LOP increased and then put away and never used. The bolt and bolt face are in mint conditon and shows no sign of use. Aside from a few small wood burises this is almost a mint condition Tanner!!! There have only been a very few number of Tanners ever imported into the USA and this is definately a very rare rifle here in America.
