Description: Holiday Special Custom Mauser 98 Heavy Target Bench Rifle .219 Donaldson Wasp Cal. W/Scope Offered her for sale and just acquired along with a fine collection fine of heavy benchrest target rifles is this fine heavy target rifle custom crafted by well known gunsmith and custom rifle maker Richard Ruggeiro of Connecticut. The original action Mauser 98 action was made in the post WWII period. The custom heavy target barrel was chambered for the .219 Donaldson Wasp cartridge set in a custom Fajan stock with a 26” barrel. It is mounted with an equally fine Tasco 36x44 power scope. It has not seen a great deal of use and is in fine – excellent condition. Along with the rifle and scope are included a set of dies and accessories. This is a enviable and desirable custom bench rifle which would appeal to most of the fraternity of bench rest shooting enthusiasts. Its value will be influenced by the quality of Ruggeiro’s gunsmithing. The rifle weighs in at approximately 14-15 lbs so this to be taken in consideration as far as shipping is concerned and dependent upon the geographical location of the buyer.
