Engraved Blaser Model K95 Single Shot Rifle with Two Barrels, Two Scopes, Case and Box
This beautiful single shot rifle has a barrel locking break open action. The aluminum action is beautifully relief engraved with a wooded scene of a hunting dog and a wild boar on the left side and two deer running in the woods on the right side. There are also areas of floral scroll patterns, wavy line and dot bordering and "BLASER" in a panel on the underside amid scroll engraving. The break lever and safety lever also are engraved with a floral scroll design. Blue trigger and trigger guard and tang mounted automatic safety. The barrels and action retain 99% plus original blue and grey finish showing only light handling/storage marks. All of the markings and engraving are sharp and clear. Mechanically excellent. Both scopes are as new.
Two barrels accompany this rifle. The first is 23 5/8 inches in length, octagon in 6.5 x 55 caliber. It has a ramped red beaded front sight and a fixed white line rear sight on a raised ramp. The left rear is marked "Blaser Germany Mod. K95" over the nitro and antler proof marks, "AF" date code, "Cal. 6.5 x 55" and "Nr: 3/97036". The right side is marked with the warning and the one line address. The underside of each barrel is fitted with a sling swivel base.
The second barrel is the K95 Stutzen barrel and is 20 inches in length, octagon and chambered in 7x57 caliber. The barrel has the same sights as the other, the same right side rear markings, and the left side markings have a date code of "AE" and "Nr: 3/95331".
It is fitted with a nicely figured two piece Turkish walnut Mannlicher style forearm. Each piece has a Schnabel forend, and the forend piece has a sling swivel eye and ebony on the forend. The rear piece is skip-line checkered and is easily removed and serves as the forearm for the other barrel. The stock is also a nicely figured Turkish walnut with skip-line checkering on the wrist, horn grip cap, Bavarian style cheek piece, and solid Pachmayr recoil pad. The wood is excellent with a few very minor dents and dings and very crisp checkering. Comes with two Leupold VX-III scopes, one 2.5-8x36mm, the other 4.5-14x50mm, both have quick disconnect bases and rings attached, both have their original box, and the smaller scope also has a cloth pouch. Also comes with an original Blaser box numbered to the gun, a Blaser aluminum case with a nylon carrying strap and hunter green lining. There is a certificate for each barrel, a manual, screwdriver and scope mounting instructions. All of the boxes are very good and the case is excellent.
