Building on the success of Accuracy International’s AXMC and AX50 rifle platforms, the new AX50 ELR .50 BMG Rifle combines the best of both to provide AI’s first extreme long range multi-caliber rifle. The multi-caliber functionality of the AX50 ELR lies in Accuracy International’s patented Quickloc barrel system that allows the operator to quickly swap the barrel using a hex key, which is conveniently stored under the rifle’s cheek piece. Conversion kits for the AX50 ELR will be available in .375 CheyTac and .408 CheyTac for those who want to push the AX50 ELR to its limits.
Outside of the new multi-caliber functionality, the Accuracy International AX50 ELR features upgrades over the standard AX50. Most notably, the newly designed folding buttstock is based on the buttstock found on the new Accuracy International ASR and AXSR rifles; and allows for quick and toolless adjustments to the cheekpiece height and length of pull.
