Semi pistol grip walnut stock with grasping grooves and is stamped P63820
Slick bolt action based on Mauser action
Bore is very good
Bore is ok with good 4 groove rifling (right hand twist)
Bridge marked 1937 and side is marked for 1938 manufacture
Only made 1924-1942
Straight bolt with 15262 serial number
4 sling mount points
Germany acquired hundreds of thousands of these rifles in 1939 when they occupied Czechoslovakia and pressed them into service under the designation Gewehr 24(t)
Exact number of rifles produced between 1938 and 1939 are unknown, but may be less than 10,000 based on surviving serial numbers
5 round fixed internal magazine accepts stripper clips
Tangent rear sight graduated in 50m increments (55 yards)
