This firearm is a CESKA ZBROJOVKA model BRNO 21 chambered for 8x57 (8mm Mauser). The firearm is a european sporting arm likely made in 1950 per the serial number (SN: 31958) and some research into production dates of this model. The firearm has solid rifling and a bright bore, with solid blueing still intact throughout the steel. The rifle has a Leupold M8 4x scope sitting in a redfield set of rings and bases as well as a classicly styled leather sling adorning the firearm. The wood is in great overall condition with no visible scuffs/scratches. One of the iron sights has been ground off by a previous owner, most likely for scope clearance. A pachamyr butt has been added but it has been properly ground to fit the existing stock profile. This rifle is quite a piece for the discerning collector in a caliber that is more accessible than other chamberings of this firearm, making it a show piece that can still put lead on target easily.
