Description: General Specs: Browning, Year 1967, .270WIN, 8lbs. 14oz., LOP 13 7/8" Serial Number: 7L44360 The Browning Safari Bolt Action rifle chambered in .270Winchester is known for its accuracy, power, and elegant design. Introduced in the mid-20th century, it quickly gained popularity among hunters and shooting enthusiasts alike. This Browning High Power Safari grade was manufactured in 1967 in a time where old world traditions of fine tolerances and craftsmanship still prevailed. This example, serial number 7L44360 retains 99% factory bluing, a 23” pencil barrel with a mirror bore and double step downs, a hooded front sight and an adjustable express rear sight, it is tapped for scope rings. The action features a Mauser type action with controlled feed and a jeweled bolt. The box magazine has a hinged floor plate. The action is mounted in an attractive walnut stock exhibiting fiddleback throughout, hand cut checkering and a Monte Carlo stock with teardrop cheek piece. There are some field and handling marks on the furniture, and finish.
