For sale from my Dad and I's personal collection is a stunning Belgium Browning B.A.R Centinaire edition chambered in .300 Win Mag. These rifles were produced in Belgium at the Custom Shop facility to commemorate FN's 100th year of production. As with the other models, I believe only about 60 of the 100 guns were actually produced. I don't have any documentation on this but I have been told by several collectors that this is the case.
This gun is extremely eye appealing. The coin finish receiver is finely embelished with a gold encircled Elk and Antelope bust on either side, bordered by finely executed scrollwork along with the anniversary logo and production number on the left side of the receiver. The wood is an exceptional piece of oil turkish walnut with very dark vertical grain present in both the stock and forearm. To top it off this rifle includes its original box with the correct end label still attached.
Condition is near perfect, there are a few faint handling marks in the wood, otherwise it appears to be new and unused with factory grease still present in protected areas! A very unique piece that will make a great addition to any collection.
