Browning Model 1885 in 45-70 Govt.

Description:
I have for sale a nice Browning Model 1885 in 45-70 Government High Wall.  This gun was purchased to hunt deer in any of the states requiring the straight wall caliber rifles such as Ohio.  The gun is factory original with the exception of the addition of the Navy Arms 4 X 15 Brass scope.  Barrel length is 28 inches and is octagonal.  Length of pull is 13 1/2 inches over the original Browning solid pad Drop at comb is 5/8" and at heel is 1 1/8 inches and the weight is 9 pounds 7 ounces.  Comes with the factory original sling swivels.  This would be a really neat rifle to take on that buffalo hunt out west or to hunt deer with a "traditional" gun.  Gun has been used and has some dings and small dents in the stock but perfectly solid in every way.  Bore is perfect.  Price is $1800 plus $50 shipping to your FFL
