Browning Model 1886 Saddle Ring Grade 1 Carbine
45-70 GOV Caliber
Patterened after the Winchester Model 1886 Carbine,
Blued receiver, 22 inch round barrel, 7 shot full magazine
Cresent butt, open sights; 7000 total manufactured 1992- 1993 only.
The condition of this carbine is new. The barrel and magazine tube retain 100% blue showing no use. The markings are sharp and crisp; The action retains all the original blue;. The walnut stocks are excellent having no handling marks. The carbine is equipped with a standard graduated rear and a plain post front sight. These early Brownings were made pre- Miroku; with no tang safety or rebounding hammer. This carbine comes with a BROWNING factory carbine box, Styrofoam insert and a manual.
