Browning Model 1886 Centennial Limited Edition rifle chambered in the hard-hitting .45-70 Government. Manufactured exclusively in 1986 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of John Moses Browning’s legendary lever-action design, this rifle is one of only 3,000 ever produced.
This rifle is a true masterpiece of functional art. It features a striking, silver nitrate receiver adorned with exquisite gold-inlaid scrollwork and game scenes. Elk scene on the left side, American bison on the right side. Signed by the engraver T. Mora on the left side. This stunning engraving contrast beautifully against the deep, high-polished bluing on the 26-inch full-octagon barrel. The stock is carved from premium, high-grade American walnut with a flawless gloss finish and crisp, sharp checkering.
