First Year Production Browning Miroku Manufactured Model 1885 Low Wall .22 Hornet Single Shot Rifle with 10X Scope
Description: Another “ESTATE” firearm listing brought to you from Dust 2 Dollars who prides themselves on showing the complete gun in high quality pictures along with a detailed description for your consideration. We offer you a “First Year Production” Browning Miroku manufactured Model 1885 Low Wall single shot rifle chambered in .22 Hornet. Browning brought to market this version on the Winchester 1885 low wall in 1995. The serial number on the rifle is “04703NV2L7”. The date code part of the number “NV” tells us it was made in 1985. 2L7 is the model code for “Low Wall” and it was the 4,703 one made. The Low Wall features a 24 inch, free floating tapered octagon barrel suspended from a beefy forearm hanger mounted directly to the receiver that does not allow the forearm touch the barrel. The trigger assembly was designed to be user adjustable. It wears a high gloss finish on the checkered, select checkered walnut stocks. The barreled action was meticulously polished for a deep luster bluing. They are factory drilled and tapped for scope mounts. The left of the barrel is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q. / MADE IN JAPAN / NP”, the right is marked “BROWNING MODEL 1885 CALIBER .22 HORNET ONLY”. The right of the receiver has the serial number with the underside of the lever having the gold plated “Buck Mark” logo. The butt stock shows some light marks and wear from us with the factory butt plate that is marked “BROWNING”. The forearm is in the same condition with both stocks showing no cracks, chips or repairs. The factory high gloss bluing on the metal is in excellent condition with no issues as is the bore. It wears Burris scope mounts and rings. On top is a Bushnell Banner 10x40mm – 10 power scope with an adjustable objective. It has duplex crosshairs and functions just fine with clean optics. $1,399 This will be shipped fully insured to your FFL UPS Ground for $60 with signature required. The rifle will be shipped in a new foam lined double wall cardboard box that we have manufactured for us so that your gun arrives safe. Payment to be made by USPS Money Order or Cashier’s Check. All firearms come with a 3-day inspection from D2D’s. SOLD Rifle Caliber: .22 Hornet |
