BROWNING BAR, .270 MADE in BELGIUM / ASSEMBLED PORTUGAL, WITH BAUSCH & LOMB 3-9 SCOPE
Description: Pretty nice Browning BAR chambered in .270 Winchester with a Bausch & Lomb 3-9 scope mounted in Redfield Rings and Bases. I got this one from a neighbor of mine who bought it brand new in 1984. He liked it because it offered a quick back-up shot. He always hunted Deer and Elk in Utah where the shots are sometimes across a canyon so he liked the flat shooting 270 Winchester. He was also a big fan of Jack o'Connor so he believed in old 270 Jack's wisdom. My neighbor is now in his late 80s and has not hunted for over 10 years. This rifle has been well taken care of in its life, but does have some scratches in the wood finish and some blue wear on the sharp edges where it was carried. Like most Deer rifles out west, it was fired 5-6 rounds a year to check zero and to take an animal. The bore looks bright and shiny, with sharp riflings and looks perfect to me. He always cleaned it with a muzzle protector attached. I have fired it and it was very accurate for me with Winchester 130 grain power points. (There is no guarantee of accuracy, I cannot control how it will shoot for you). It has an older Bausch and Lomb 3-9 scope on it that is bright and clear. The action is smooth and it fed reliably for me with zero issues. It comes with one magazine. Please check the photos carefully and contact me with questions. Thank you for looking!
