Belgian made with both 30-06 caliber rifle and 20-gauge shotgun barrels. It has 24" rifled blued steel barrels fit with ejectors and folding leaf rear and matte ramped brass tipped blade front sights. The left side of the top barrel is rolled stamped 'BROWNING ARMS COMPANY, MORGAN, UTAH AND MONTREAL P.Q.' while the right side is roll stamped 'MADE IN BELGIUM 30.06 CALIBER ONLY'. The 20-gauge barrel set is 26-1/2" fit with ejectors, 3" chambers, ventilated top rib with steel bead front sight and choked modified and full. The left side of the top barrel is rolled stamped "BROWNING ARMS COMPANY, MORGAN, UTAH AND MONTREAL P.Q." while the right side is roll stamped "BROWNING SUPERPOSED // SPECIAL STEEL 20 GA.SHELLS_3" // BROWING PATENTS". The French gray finished action is adorned with full coverage engraving with gold-inlaid animal portraits and supporting scrolls. The left side of the action body has a gold-inlaid bedded bull elk, and a gold-inlaid quail is on the right. The bottom of the action body is adorned with scrolls, a portrait of John Browning with a wreath on either side along with '1878' and '1978' and 'BROWNING CENTENNIAL' and trigger guard with scrolls. No engravers signature is present. The action is fit with a gold plated single selective trigger and non-automatic top tang slide safety with barrel selector. Nicely figured oil finished walnut stock with traditional straight hand grip with point pattern checkering, each barrel has its own one piece Schnabel forearm with typical Browning latch release that is similarly checkered, 14-1/4" LOP to a Browning black plastic buttplate, 7 Lbs. - 1 Oz. with rifle barrels and 5 Lbs. - 14 Oz. with shotgun barrels. The gun resides in a walnut case with red velvet interior.
