This rifle is somewhat rare as it was one of the first made in Japan, instead of being marked BL22 patent # it is marked patent pending. I am the original owner purchased in CA. around 1970-71. The short 33% lever action and the tubular magazine that handles short through Long Rifle ammo are features that make this rifle superior. It is in excellet shape, I have not fired it in over 20 years.There are small marks on the wood they do not even penetrate the glossy finish. The metal including the bore is in excellent shape, 98-99% overall. Comes with a mounted scope.
