Browning Trombone, Belgian made. This is out of my collection and couldn’t find reliable information to correctly date it other than possibly late 50’s to early 60’s (serial 97009) I purchased this rifle about 5 years ago and have shot it once. Rifle cycles and functions correctly. Bluing is intact with no signs of corrosion with a few wear marks on slide and a few other very minor dings. Sock has some compression marks and a larger gouge toward bottom of butt on right side. Butt plate shows signs of wear and isn’t in the greatest condition. This rifle is by no means a high-quality collector but would be an excellent candidate for stock refinishing or to just be used as an historic shooter. Bore shows rifling intact. I am clearing out some of my collection to make way for my different taste in firearms, and due to imperfections on this classic hard to find Belgian Browning I’m pricing accordingly.
