Early 1956 Browning Belgium made SA-22 Takedown 22 LRT pre-letter prefix. 2nd year of production with Wheel Sight. These wheel sight guns were only produced from 1956 to 1961. 19” barrel with a minty mirror bore with excellent rifling. This gun is in excellent condition with a beautiful amber satin finish. Metal is in excellent shape, and the furniture shows only a few small handling marks and a ding on the fore end. (see pictures). The picture shows it a lot worse than it is. Overall condition I would rate this at 90 – 95%. This rifle is an excellent example of Browning’s legendary design and would be a prized addition to any collection. We sold are shop we ran for 30 years and have a few personal items that I will be selling. This will be sent to an FFL for transfer. I have an FFL I can use to ship, but I also can send it directly to your FFL of choice if he allows, with a copy of my DL. Shipping will be 60.00 insured.
