Browning's flagship bolt-action rifle, the X-Bolt, is a beautifully designed rifle with impressive performance. With variants spanning a wide range of prices and specifications, the X-Bolt especially excels in the long-range hunting and target categories. The Stainless Sporter is an excellent choice for hunting applications ranging from varmints to medium-sized game. This X-Bolt Stainless Sporter rifle is chambered in the fast and flat-shooting .300 Winchester Short Magnum and its detachable rotary magazine holds three additional rounds. The stainless steel barrel measures at 23" long and features a recessed target crown and 1:10 twist rate. This rifle features a black synthetic stock with Browning's weatherproof Dura-Tough Armor coating and soft rubber Inflex recoil pad. The rifle is equipped with a Bushnell Banner 4-12x40mm scope mounted in Leupold rings and bases. The short bolt throw and two-position safety make for a fast-operating gun. The rifle features a very light Browning Feather trigger with a short crisp pull. The rifle is in fair condition with some wear on the bolt but little usage marks on the barrel or receiver. The barrel's inside surfaces are clean with sharp rifling. The stock has no structural damage or broken sections, however the Dura-Tough finish is deteriorating and becoming quite sticky. It is best recommended to replace the stock or have it refinished or re-coated. This X-Bolt Stainless Sporter includes the original box, a rubber-padded Hush Stalker sling, and a Cabela's soft scope case. .300 WSM
