**SOLD** Browning A-Bolt Bolt Action Rifle Chambered in .270 Winchester Caliber **Factory BOSS System - Japan Made - With Bases and 1" Rings**
Description: Here we have a very nice Japan made Browning A-Bolt bolt action hunting rifle chambered in the very capapable and respected .270 Winchester caliber incorporating the BOSS tuning system at the muzzle. A-Bolt rifles feature a very short bolt throw assuring no issues with the mounting of scopes with large eyepieces. The rifle incorporate an internal box magazine attached to the floor plate for easy loading and unloading. The factory installed BOSS system allows for tuning for various loads be they factory loaded or handloads. The BOSS (Browning's Ballistic Optimizing Shooting System) simply tunes the vibrations of your barrel. This allows the bullet to leave the barrel the split second it is stationary. Adjusting your BOSS to the "Sweet Spot" setting allows you to find the instant your barrel is stationary. The result is accuracy never achieved before by an out-of-the-box rifle. This particular example has been used but in no way abused. The rifle has a few handling marks on the stock but nothing serious. The 20 inch tapered barrel has an excellent bore with strong rifling and the BOSS tuner at the muzzle. Included are bases and rings for mounting of a scope with a 1 inch main tube. The included rings look to be of medium- high height which would allow use of scopes with a front objective of approximately 50mm diameter.
