Description:
The Browning® A-Bolt® II Stalker Bolt-Action Rifle comes with a matte black composite stock and a black matte finished barrel and receiver. The A-Bolt II Stalker non-reflective finish blends into big game hunting environments. Common to all A-Bolt II centerfire rifles, the Stalker II comes with a highly refined, adjustable trigger system, a free-floated, hand chambered, and target crowned barrel, and a glass-bedded receiver that deliver exceptional accuracy, needed for long range shooting. The bolt assembly utilizes a fluted, anti-bind bolt, with a rotating head and 3 locking lugs (instead of 2 on Mauser-type actions). Three locking lugs allow a short 60-degree bolt handle lift for fast cycling and increased scope clearance. The bolt knob's shape is slightly flattened and canted at an ergonomic 30-degree angle that fits the hand naturally. Your glove won't get caught between your scope and the bolt knob at the moment of truth with an A-Bolt II, and neither will the bolt bind up. A detachable, steel magazine is held in place by a hinged floorplate that allows quick re-loading with extra magazines. A top-tang safety with bolt unlock button allows you to open the bolt for loading or inspection with the tang safety in the safe position.
