Description:
BEAUTIFUL 1ST Model Browning Bolt Rifle (BBR) in 30-06 Spfd. BBR's were mfg from '78-'84 when A-Bolt was introduced. Made in Japan by Miroku. 24" barrel with recessed target crown(factory). Bore is as new. It appears fired very litle.  This gorgeous rifle is in overall near new condtion. High polish blue is 99%. Wood finish is 98-99% as well with only a few light marks, mostly in a little area right in front of bolt on top edge. Cut checkering is sharp and crisp. Rosewood grip cap. These rifles used Pachmeyer Flush mount detachable swivels( very clean when sling removed). These BBR's have a 9 lug fluted body bolt very much like a Mark V Weatherby. 60 degree throw. Adjustable trigger. Detachable box magazine from hinged floorplate(like A-Bolt.) Early BBR's had the more squarish Weatherby/Sako Monte Carlo stock design, while later BBR's resemble the more rounded A Bolt designed stock. Factory Pad.
