Browning Model 1886 Saddle Ring Carbine in 45-70. 
This carbine was manufactured by Miroku in 1992. It is chambered in 45-70 and has a blue 22" round barrel and full magazine and has a carbine barrel band. It has blue finished action with standard straight grained walnut stocks, and a blue steel carbine butt plate. 

Condition:
The overall condition of this Browning carbine is excellent. The barrel and magazine tube retain perhaps 99% blue showing very little use. The markings remain sharp and crisp. The action retains all the original blue with some staining in a couple of spots. The walnut stocks are excellent with a couple of minor handling marks. The carbine is equipped with a standard graduated rear and a plain post front sight. These Browning 1886 carbines are great rifles not only because of the versatile 45-70 chambering, but because they are short and light which makes them a great rifle for practical use. Also, this one was made before Miroku started to install the stupid tang safety and rebounding hammer. This comes with a matching factory box, Styrofoam insert and wafer, and a factory manual. We usually have Browning 1886 rifles and carbines in stock.
